This week I am featuring fun Christmas crafts made with the Stampin Up Candy Cane Season stamp set.  This is such a cute stamp set and it works great for making gift tags.  So today I thought I would share with you 3 different holiday gift tag styles to make with the Candy Cane Season stamp set.

These gift tags take just minutes to make.  So in a short amount of time, you can easily make up a whole bunch of them for your Christmas presents this year.

Candy Cane Gift Tag #1 Instructions:

These Candy Cane Season gift tags are super quick to make and would be perfect for all your holiday gifts! Learn how easy it is to make them here.

  • Cut a piece of Garden Green cardstock to 2″ x 3-1/2″.  Punch the end with the Scalloped Tag Topper Punch.  Use the corner rounder on the Detailed Trio punch to round the corners on the other end of the tag.
  • Cut a piece of Whisper White cardstock to 1-3/4″ x 2-1/2″.  Round the corners.
  • Using Garden Green ink, stamp the “To: From” stamp (from the Bring on the Presents stamp set) in the upper left corner of the Whisper White piece.
  • Using Real Red ink, stamp the candy cane outline and the candy cane stripes (from the Candy Cane Season stamp set) on a scrap of Whisper White cardstock.  Use the Candy Cane Builder punch to cut it out.
  • Using Garden Green ink, stamp the bow (from the Candy Cane Season stamp set) on a scrap of Whisper White cardstock.  Use the Candy Cane Builder punch to cut it out.
  • Cut a 6″ piece of 1/8″ Real Red ribbon.
  • Adhere the to/from layer to the tag base.
  • Use Mini Stampin Dimensionals to adhere the candy cane to the corner of the tag.
  • Use a mini glue dot to adhere the bow to the candy cane.

Candy Cane Holiday Gift Tag #2 Instructions:

These Candy Cane Season gift tags are super quick to make and would be perfect for all your holiday gifts! Learn how easy it is to make them here.

  • Cut a piece of Whisper White cardstock to 5″ x 2-1/2″.  Place the long edge at the top of a scoring board and score at 2-1/2″.  Fold to form your gift tag base.
  • Cut a piece of Festive Farmhouse Designer Series Paper to 2-1/4″ square.
  • Cut a piece of Whisper White cardstock to 1-5/8″ square (or used the Stitched Shapes die set to cut out the square).
  • Using Real Red ink, stamp the candy cane heart (from the Candy Cane Season stamp set) on the 1-5/8″ square, referring to the above picture for placement.
  • Using Garden Green ink, stamp Be Jolly (from the Candy Cane Season stamp set) on a scrap of Garden Green cardstock.  Use the Classic Label punch to cut out the sentiment then trim the ends close to the stamping.
  • Use black ink to stamp to/from (from the Bring on the Presents stamp set) on the inside of the card.
  • Adhere the designer series paper square to the front of the gift tag card.
  • Using Stampin Dimensionals, adhere the candy cane square to the gift tag, referring to the image above for placement.
  • Using a mini glue dot, adhere the Be Jolly sentiment just below the candy canes.

Candy Cane Holiday Gift Tag #3 Instructions:

  • Cut a piece of Whisper White cardstock to 2″ x 3-1/2″.  Punch the end with the Scalloped Tag Topper Punch.  Use the corner rounder on the Detailed Trio punch to round the corners on the other end of the tag.
  • Cut a piece of Real Red cardstock to 1-3/4″ x 2-1/2″.  Round the corners.
  • Use the Oh My Stars embossing folder to emboss the Whisper White tag.
  • Using black ink, stamp the “To: From” stamp (from the Bring on the Presents stamp set) in the upper left corner of the Real Red piece.
  • Using Real Red ink, stamp the candy cane outline and the candy cane stripes (from the Candy Cane Season stamp set) on a scrap of Whisper White cardstock.  Use the Candy Cane Builder punch to cut it out. Repeat this for a second candy cane
  • Using Garden Green ink, stamp the bow (from the Candy Cane Season stamp set) on a scrap of Garden Green cardstock.
  • Referring to the above picture for placement, use Mini Stampin Dimensionals to adhere the candy canes to the tag.
  • Use a mini glue dot to adhere the green bow to the candy canes where they intersect.
