  • (1) 2.75″ Circle cut from brown cardstock
  • (1) 1.25″ Circle cut from brown cardstock

To assemble your turkey treat cups:

Starting at the 9 0’clock position, glue the ovals to the back of the large brown circle to create the feathers. Alternate between burnt orange, goldenrod, and orange, ending with the last burnt orange oval at the 3 o’clock position. I use Tombow Mono Multi Liquid Glue for my paper crafting projects because it dries fairly quickly and holds securely.

Glue the 2 orange flowers to the back of the large brown circle. You want three of the petals showing on the front so it looks like the turkey’s feet.

Fold the orange square in half along the diagonal to form the beak.

Cut 1/2 inch off the scroll shape to form the waddle and glue to the back of the beak. Then glue the beak to the brown circle.

Glue the 2 googly eyes right above the beak. (I used the 6 mm size of googly eyes, but you can play around and see which size looks best.)

Fill the treat cups with fall-colored candies (like Reese’s Pieces or M&M’s). Remove adhesive and stick the treat cup to the large brown circle. Be sure to press down firmly all around to make sure that it is securely attached.

A quick note about the self-adhesive treat cups: When I initially published this post, I had used Stampin Up treat cups. Stampin Up has discontinued their treat cups, unfortunately. I have searched and searched to find something similar.

I recently found these self-adhesive shaker cups from Jillibean Soup. They are a bit shallower than the original Stampin Up cups so they won’t hold a lot of candy, but they are the best I can find at the moment. If I am able to find a better alternative, I will update this post.

These are adorable! And I bet they really dress up the Thanksgiving table. I love the texture on the turkey’s feathers, so cool, and his wattle is awesome. I am pinning this for when we host Thanksgiving! I know everyone would appreciate them, not just the kids. Thanks for sharing!
