My youngest daughter was inducted into the National Junior Honor Society last December.  Much like the high school honor society, selection criteria was based not only on grades, but also community service and extra curricular activities.  We were so proud to learn that she had been selected.  The middle school had a beautiful candle lighting ceremony for the induction of the new members.
